On Wednesday, February 12th, several of our team members visited Harmon Middle school in Pickerington, Ohio. Our team members gave an educational presentation informing the kids about STEM career paths. Our goal was to get kids interested in technology and engineering fields, and possibly joining the robotics team when they are in high school. We demonstrated our 2013 and 2014 robots for the children and taught teachers how to drive the robots.

It was a cold day today in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. No, scratch that- it was cold probably in the entire mid east, but that's not what made today particularly cool. Today, some of the most die-hard Technical Difficulties members took the long, cold trek out to the Ohio Educational Technology Conference in downtown Columbus. There, we set up a booth with Central Ohio Robotics Initiative (CORI) to show people what we have been up to and our many accomplishments throughout the two years we have been a team. Our members saw the many different booths showcasing products from various companies. Their products were useful to teachers in improving students' learning experience with technology. All in all, it was a good day for 4085. We were able to share with others our achievements and accomplishments, and further spread the message of FIRST.

Unfortunately, due to bad weather conditions, Technical Difficulties will not be attending Christmas on the Towne. Sadly, we can't run robots in the snow. Enjoy your wintry weekend!
