Update

After a short build season, a long wait in between, and exciting competitions, you are probably curious as to what's in store for Technical Difficulties??

Well as mentioned in previous posts, we still have a couple more events to kick butt in :)

but beyond that Technical Difficulties is on a mission!

We are on a mission to not only become a better robotics team but to do more philanthropy within our community and FIRST.

 "That's sounds good, now whats the game plan?"

Well for any of you curious folks, we plan on taking FIRST by storm using a network of committees to come up with ideas and implement them.

STATES!!!

the day our whole team has been greatly anticipating since the end of our last competition....

is right around the corner!

Every year the top 24 teams in the great state of Ohio, travel from far and wide for one ultimate, final battle to claim the top spot! As the #8 ranked team in Ohio, we will be in a leading position hoping to win it all!

This year states will be held at Thurgood Marshall High School in Dayton, Ohio.

Pits open at 8am
Opening ceremony at 9am
Closing ceremony at  4pm

We hope to see you there supporting your favorite central Ohio team

3 Days until Competition

Only three days left until our team arrives in Terre Haute, Indiana for the Crossroads Regional! The team members have been counting down the days until we can take Surge out of the bag and get our robot running again. We watched the live stream of several competitions last weekend to see what is in store for us this weekend. We have been very impressed with what we have seen so far.

Meet Surge

At midnight, yesterday February 18th, the team bagged, tagged and named out 2014 Aerial Assist robot. We put what the name should be to a vote and Surge won!

STOP Build Day

It's Tuesday, February 18th. The halls of eSTEM are filled with the steady humming of our robot launching, catching, and getting practice in before the dreaded BAG comes at midnight to store our precious robot away until competition...

BUT it's not just the robot who is going to be here until Midnight!

So many dedicated team members on every team ranging from mechanical to marketing are here in support of our robot!

As you can see Technical Difficulties is begrudgingly awaiting STOP Build. Although we have the utmost faith in our robot, it's still painful to say goodbye for 2 WEEKS!

Alas, the time is approaching, and we can only believe that we did everything we can!
